As an important part of the electronic information industry, the international trade status of magnetic material components often reflects the industry's development vitality and performance in the global market. Recently, the industry association released import and export data for the first ten months of 2025. Although the overall trade environment is facing some challenges, there are still a lot of positive signals in the segmented areas, and the trade structure is being optimized, showing that this industry still maintains a good development resilience amidst the adjustment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the overall data point of view, from January to October 2025, the total import and export trade of magnetic material components reached 3.896 billion U.S. dollars, compared with the same period of last year, down 9.39%. trade surplus was 2.997 billion U.S. dollars, the scale remained relatively stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the export side, the export volume of the whole category of products was 247,800 tons and the export value was 3.446 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decline of 5.31% and 9.38%. The import side was more obviously affected by the changes in demand, with an import volume of 858.27 tons and an import value of 449 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decline of 22.87% and 9.47%, which reflects that the industry is going through the adjustment process of the supply and demand pattern. In the segmented products, some products with advantages performed relatively stable. Rare earth permanent magnets exported 45,300 tons, amounting to 2.154 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 62.5% of the export value of the whole category, with a trade surplus of 2.068 billion U.S. dollars. Though slightly down year-on-year, they still occupy an important position in the product structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NdFeB related products showed a differentiated situation. The export volume and price of magnetic powder increased by 16.20% and 15.95% year-on-year respectively, while the import volume increased significantly by 119.95%, which shows that the market demand for high-end raw materials is relatively strong. Superconducting screws and MRI with electromagnets and other products, the export value of growth of 4.51%, trade surplus growth of 19.33%, to become a small number of positive growth in total imports and exports of product categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The structure of trade partners is also continuously optimized. In terms of exports, Germany (14.1%), the United States (9.7%), Japan (9.7%) is the main destination, the Asian market as a whole accounted for more than 30%, at the same time, India, Mexico and other emerging markets are also expanding steadily. Imports mainly from Japan (23.5%), Germany (18.2%) and other countries and regions, imports of products with higher technological content of the products, reflecting the domestic demand for supplementation in the field of high-end still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite some pressure in the short term, the basic advantages of the magnetic material components industry still exist, and the development trend of high-end product structure and market diversification is obvious. With the continuous expansion of new energy vehicles, energy storage and other downstream applications, as well as the continued promotion of industrial transformation and upgrading, the industry is expected to cope with the current challenges by optimizing the product structure, expanding the diversified market, and further enhance its position in the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
